Dear friends, listeners, supporters!

We are Leana and Kulno, two Estonian musicians with traditional roots. We've known each other for a long time and have admired each other's previous work from a distance for years. But almost three years ago now, when Kulno recorded his third solo album and invited Leana to sing one song on that record - that's where our cooperation and playing together actually started. 

We have come to a point where we are going to release an album soon. Our album will be called "ööLooD"/"Night Tales". This album is a mix of songs written by Leana and also some folk songs, all of which Kulno has tied together with his masterful accordion soundscapes. Our album was recorded and produced by Belgian musician, sound engineer and producer Jeroen Geerinck from Trad Records, who also contributed to our recordings to enrich the sound of the album with some additional instruments.

For the album "ööLooD" we have collected songs, which in one way or another carry the charm and magic of the evening/nighttime. Stories that tell about inner thoughts, wishes, dreams, souls, hope, and faith that no matter what happens on the path of life, it all has had its purpose and meaning. All this is covered by the mantle of our Nordic untouched nature, which always echoes in all our human experiences.

 

 

Choosing songs for the record, arranging songs and recording-producing has been an exciting journey for both of us. The creative process is almost finished, and now there are still a number of practical steps ahead before the release of the album - post-production of the record, cover design, printing, physical and digital distribution, etc. It is to cover these steps, dear friends, that we turn to You.

For us, these songs have brought a lot of joy while playing and singing these songs, and we are very happy that we will soon be able to share our music with a wider audience. But most of all, we are looking forward to presenting the record and playing the program at real concerts for you, dear listeners! 

We plan to release the record in its entirety in the second half of the summer of 2024 or in the early fall. Album presentation concerts are also planned for autumn. At least two singles from the upcoming album can be expected already in the springtime.
